CLUB REQUIREMENTS

Anyone can be a member of the Purdue Pre-Veterinary Medical Association, but for those members who wish to be considered an active member, there are a few requirements they need to fulfill.
MEETINGS
Members are allowed only one unexcused absence per semester to be an active member. We do accommodate for exams, sicknesses, or other pressing matters, and will mark down an excused absence as long as the member emails the club stating so, but the email must be sent within 24 hours before the meeting.

CLUB DUES:
Each student must pay the following dues:
$15 for the academic year or $10 for the semester

*If you feel financially restricted, please don't hesitate to reach out to us, and we will figure something out!

ACTIVE MEMBER REQUIREMENTS:
Each student must receive the following:
​
Socials: 2 socials per year (or 1 social per semester)
Fundraisers: 2 fundraisers per year (or 1 fundraiser per semester)
Community Service*: 10 hours total per year (does NOT have to be animal-related)

*Community service hours are to be logged using the Google form linked below! Again, it does NOT need to be animal-related!

Please don't be overwhelmed! We offer plenty of opportunities for our members to fulfill these requirements! In addition to achieving your active member status, a list of active members is sent to Purdue's Veterinary School for your good standing.
