CLUB REQUIREMENTS
Anyone can be a member of the Purdue Pre-Veterinary Medical Association, but for those members who wish to be considered an active member, there are a few requirements they need to fulfill.
MEETINGS
Members are allowed one unexcused absence per semester to maintain active member status. Absences can be excused for reasons such as exam conflicts, illness, etc, as long as the member emails no later than 24 hours prior to the meeting with their excuse and proof.
CLUB DUES:
Each student must pay the following dues:
$15 for the academic year or $10 for the semester
*The club is willing to accommodate and work with financially restricted students as long as they reach out to us to discuss it!
ACTIVE MEMBER REQUIREMENTS:
Each student must receive the following:
Social Points: 2 social points per year, or one per semester
Fundraising Points: 2 fundraising points per year, or one per semester
Community Service*: 10 hours per year (does NOT have to be animal-related)
*Community service hours are to be logged using the Google form linked below! Again, it does NOT need to be animal-related!
A list of active members is sent to Purdue's Veterinary School for your good standing.
